Post-rehabilitation work within substance abuse services is professional substance abuse work that supports life changes after stopping the use of intoxicants. Post-rehabilitation work is aimed at adult Helsinki residents recovering from substance dependence and their loved ones.
You receive support in lifestyle and identity change work related to recovery. We support you in building a substance-free life in an individualized, practical, and when necessary long-term manner.
Together with you, we clarify matters related to rehabilitation, studies, employment, health, housing, and livelihood, for example. The service is free of charge and voluntary.
Post-rehabilitation for substance abuse services is part of the City of Helsinki's housing, crisis, and substance abuse services. Client status in post-rehabilitation usually begins when substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation elsewhere are ending. You apply for client status through your assigned substance abuse services worker. If you are not a client of substance abuse services, you can apply for post-rehabilitation by contacting post-rehabilitation staff.
You can participate in the activities of Partnership House Harjula's meeting place without being a client in post-rehabilitation services.
